The Last Days of Pompeii was a 1984 television movie broadcast on ABC-TV, adapting the 1834 novel of the same name by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. It was the first English-language adaptation of the book for film or television (previously adapted only in Italian, with the 1935 RKO film unrelated to the novel).
